Associazione Amata Brancaleone Aps proposed to the Municipality and the Superintendence of Ravenna a project of the mosaicist Anna Agati, a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts of Ravenna. The idea involves the decoration of a white marble fountain in Rocca Brancaleone with a mosaic that would unite two elements that made Ravenna famous: mosaics and the work of Dante Alighieri, celebrating art and literature. 

Thanks to the convention signed with the Academy of Fine Arts of Ravenna, the work was financed by the Associazione Amata Brancaleone Aps and realized by Anna Agati, Lorenzo Baruzzi, Perisa Deghani, Daniela Guzzinati, Anna De Luca, and Marica Zanga, with the supervision of professor Marco Santi.
