The 2023 Biennale of Contemporary Mosaics, once again, welcomes Riccione, this time in a precious public space of the Villa Franceschi, a hidden gem in Art Nouveau style that houses a rich collection of modern and contemporary art. Charming halls of the ground floor will hold a multisensory exhibition, Turbolenta, by Silvia Naddeo. It will display a series of largely unseen mosaic works belonging to the artist’s most recent thematic production that explores societal approaches to food and nutrition. Silvia Naddeo is a visual artist who hybridizes installation, mosaic, sculpture, and new media, merging her artistic experience with the theme of food and investigating its socio-cultural aspects and characteristics.
