The bipersonal exhibition features the work of designer Chiara Ravaioli, founder of the brand Fornice Objects, and artist Yuyu Zhao. Fornice Objects explores the link between materials research and modeling software applied to analog printing techniques. This results in pieces characterized by functional beauty, whose colors change depending on the light that illuminates them, a fundamental element in the designer's work. In the Italian dictionary, the term fornice indicates the light that passes through ancient arches. Ravaioli explores unusual materials, such as bioplastics mixed with agro-food waste: the colors of tomato peels and olive tree prunings give the vases unique and elegant shades.
