International Conference: Conservation and restoration of Ancient and Contemporary Mosaics

The Conference has been organised with the cooperation of the Municipality of Ravenna, the RavennAntica Foundation, the city Art Museum and the Department of History and Methods for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna. The event, which is the first of a regular series having the city of Ravenna as its backdrop, is intended for researchers and experts who operate in various roles in the sector of conservation and protection and the valorisation of mosaics from ancient to contemporary.
The conference will be divided into sessions for the presentation of the results in various areas concerning the conservation of mosaics. A round table on the topic Conservation and Restoration of contemporary mosaic completes the picture of the scientific activities of the conference.
The official languages of the conference are Italian, English and French.
